Dear Cement and Concrete Researchers, Producers and Users
 
          This is our great honor to invite all of you to the 16th International Congress on the Chemistry of Cement (ICCC 2023) which will be held in September 18-22, 2023 in Bangkok, Thailand.

          The International Congress on the Chemistry of Cement (ICCC) is the renowned global platform which summarizes the state of art of cement chemistry as well as major trends in cement application. Since the first International Congress on the Chemistry of Cement started in London in 1918, it has provided a strong and fruitful link between the academic world and the cement industry. It has always stimulated scientific exchanges and discussions between students and those who have already gained working experience in all of the many field of chemistry relevant to cement production and its use in concrete and mortar.

          We look forward to seeing all of you in Bangkok in September 2023.

About The International Congress on the Chemistry of Cement (ICCC)
 
          The International Congress on the Chemistry of Cement (ICCC) is the renowned global platform which summarizes the state of the art of cement chemistry and major trends in cement application. The congresses have been held generally at intervals of four to six years since 1918, providing a strong and fruitful link between the academic world and the cement industry. The ICCC has always stimulated scientific exchanges and discussions between students and those who have already gained working experience in all of the many fields of chemistry relevant to cement production and its use in mortar and concrete.
The history of ICCC organizers can be listed as follows:

          In 2019, Thailand Concrete Association (TCA) had been awarded by the Steering Committee to be host of ICCC 2023 in Bangkok, Thailand since TCA has long been cooperating well with universities, cement manufacturers, mortar manufacturers, concrete industry, government agencies, and private sectors locally, regionally and internationally in order to promote the academic and professional progress in the field of cement, mortar and concrete technology.

Poster Submission
It is noted that a poster must also be prepared and submitted via the paper submission system when your full paper has been accepted.  A poster guideline is available on the Congress website.

 

Copyright Transfer of Manuscript
As all accepted papers will be uploaded for future reference on the ICCC archive (see https://www.iccc-online.org/archive/ for the previous congresses’ archives), the corresponding author must download a copyright transfer form and sign it on behalf of all co-authors. The signed copyright transfer form must also be submitted via the congress submission system.

 

Presentation at the Congress
As there will be a large number of papers at the Congress, it is not possible to allow oral presentations for all the papers.  The Steering Committee of the ICCC2023 decided to provide 3 types of presentations at the Congress, based on the judgement of the reviewers and Scientific Committee, as follows.
 
Type 1: 15-minute oral presentation in the presentation room and poster outside the room
Type 2: 5-minute oral presentation in the presentation room and poster outside the room
Type 3: only poster presentation outside the room (no oral presentation in the room)

  • The main focus of the ICCC 2023 will be on “further reduction of CO2 -emissions and circularity in the cement and concrete industry”.
                The following topics have been proposed:

                     10. Sustainability, circular economy, waste processing and recycling
